Accounting Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.

📋 Description

• Oversees the daily operations of designated accounting areas within the organization, focusing on transaction processing, analysis, reporting, and resolution of escalated issues.

• Creates, executes, and continuously enhances policies, procedures, and processes.

• Develops necessary templates to support operational functions.

• Addresses escalated or intricate issues requiring managerial intervention or involving other process areas.

• Reports on key metrics to optimize the effectiveness and efficiency of the accounting area.

• Highlights key performance indicators and metrics relevant to general accounting.

• Ensures achievement of business outcomes by meeting or surpassing all contractual service level agreements while managing General Accounting expenses.

• Monitors the regulatory landscape to remain informed of compliance requirements and to suggest internal control standards.

• Manages the accounting reporting obligations of the assigned area(s).

• Utilizes reporting tools to obtain operational insights, identify, and address problems while proposing solutions.

• Handles more complex accounting tasks, including but not limited to journal entries, allocations, eliminations, and consolidations.

• Responsible for management functions related to staffing, such as recruitment, hiring, performance evaluation, and compensation decisions.

• Performs additional duties as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.

• Five years of experience with demonstrated progressive leadership responsibilities.

• Proficient in accounting and Excel, with experience in lease software, alongside strong leadership abilities.
