Accounting Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latvia.

📋 Description

• Maintaining financial records for organizations in the USA, Hong Kong, Cyprus (the list of countries may vary)

• Overseeing primary documentation: preparation, entry, verification, archiving, and monthly submission to outsourcing firms

• Internal financial reporting: compiling and presenting internal management reports on a monthly basis

• Month-end closing: ensuring accurate closing in the ERP system, reviewing the Trial Balance (TB) and General Ledger (GL)

• Process optimization: enhancing and automating accounting and tax processes in 1C and potentially other ERP systems

• Collaborating with outsourcing firms and external auditors across various jurisdictions

• Coordinating with company directors and key stakeholders from different countries

• Ensuring accounting and tax compliance for multiple entities (with assistance from external auditors)

• Tax and financial reporting: supervising the preparation and submission of tax and accounting reports for various jurisdictions (with support from external auditors)

• Deadline management: guaranteeing timely submission of reports

• Performing tasks assigned by the Chief Accountant


⛳️ Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of accounting and tax principles in an international context

• Experience with ERP systems (1C, Xero, QuickBooks, or others)

• Capability to manage multiple entities and collaborate with outsourced accounting firms

• Exceptional communication skills for engaging with external auditors and internal stakeholders

• Strong proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets

• Upper intermediate level of written English
