Accounting Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the accounting team directly.

• Direct the daily financial operations of the organization.

• Manage the complete accounting cycle, from transaction processing to advanced financial reporting.

• Ensure the integrity of the General Ledger is maintained.

• Enhance the Procure-to-Pay cycle for efficiency.

• Handle complex variable compensation and inventory accounting.

• Supervise and mentor the accounting personnel responsible for Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Payroll.

• Drive the entire month-end closing process.

• Oversee the complete procurement process from start to finish.

• Monitor inventory levels, valuation, and the accuracy of reporting.

• Manage both internal and external audit processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (Required).

• 4-6 years of accounting experience in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

• CPA certification (Highly Preferred).

• Prior experience in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, or Medical Research is strongly desired.

• Demonstrated ability to establish processes in a changing, hands-on environment.

• 1-3 years of supervisory experience.

• Extensive proficiency in Netsuite and other ERP systems (NetSuite is preferred).

• Advanced skills in Excel, G-Suite, and Salesforce.com.

• Strong comprehension of corporate finance principles and complex accruals.
