Accounting Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Lead a team of over 20 accounting professionals, cultivating a culture centered on high performance, accountability, and ongoing development.

• Apply Lean Six Sigma methodologies to optimize processes, reduce waste, and improve operational efficiency.

• Leverage advanced data analytics to assess team performance, pinpoint areas for enhancement, and execute performance management strategies to guarantee high quality, precision, and timeliness in service delivery.

• Exhibit a comprehensive understanding of financial management principles, taking responsibility for the team's profit and loss (P&L).

• Build and maintain strong relationships with a varied clientele, ensuring that their needs are addressed with the utmost standard of service.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.

• At least 4 years of experience overseeing a team of more than 20 individuals.

• A minimum of 4 years of experience managing over 10 clients concurrently.

• Familiarity with US GAAP (or its foreign equivalent) and financial statement presentation.

• Detail-oriented with the ability to complete tasks effectively.

• Significant experience in a large accounting role, serving as a manager or supervisor within a finance/accounting department.

• Proven record of supervising, leading, and coaching a team.

• Proficient in MS Office or Google Suite applications.

• Advanced English language skills.
