This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Act as the primary accounting liaison for a designated client portfolio, overseeing all facets of bookkeeping and financial reporting.

• Manage and execute month-end closing procedures, which include journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis.

• Generate and present precise financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow) on a monthly, quarterly, and/or annual basis in accordance with client engagement agreements.

• Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of all transactions in QuickBooks Online.

• Collaborate with offshore bookkeeping, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll teams to guarantee timely processing and accuracy of transactional data.

• Cultivate and sustain strong professional relationships with assigned clients, serving as a dependable and knowledgeable point of contact.

• Proactively communicate with clients about financial outcomes, unresolved items, and deadlines.

• Recognize and escalate complex client issues or advisory opportunities to the Team Lead or Accounting Advisor as necessary.

• Collaborate closely with the Team Lead to ensure client deliverables adhere to firm quality standards and are completed punctually.

• Assist in the training and mentoring of junior staff and offshore team members as required.

• Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of internal processes, workflows, and documentation standards.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline is mandatory.

• A minimum of 3–5 years of accounting experience is required, ideally in a public accounting or outsourced accounting services setting.

• Required proficiency in QuickBooks Online (QBO); experience with QBO Advanced or managing multiple QBO entities is advantageous.

• Solid understanding of GAAP and fundamental accounting principles.

• Exceptional organizational abilities and attention to detail, with the capacity to manage multiple client deadlines concurrently.

• Strong professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
