Accounting Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and uphold internal control systems.

• Mentor, guide, and instruct Accounting personnel.

• Engage in the monthly closure of the general ledger.

• Supervise the analysis and reporting of monthly and quarterly financial statements.

• Ensure that monthly account reconciliations and key quarterly reserve analyses are completed and reviewed.

• Maintain financial records and documentation accurately.

• Guarantee adherence to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

• Initially manage a team of four Senior Accountants, with the potential for team expansion.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting.

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) credential.

• Experience with publicly traded companies.

• Over 6 years of accounting experience.

• Proven experience in leading accounting teams.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.

• Comprehensive understanding of U.S. GAAP.

• Strong aptitude for technical research.

• Capacity to influence stakeholders and act as a change agent.
