Accounting Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of and manage the monthly closing process across various global entities.

• Collaborate with the external tax team for seamless integration.

• Ensure that financial statements are accurate and timely, complying with US GAAP standards.

• Oversee journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and intercompany transactions.

• Enhance and maintain close processes, documentation, and internal controls.

• Identify and proactively resolve accounting issues as they arise.

• Supervise the complete Accounts Payable (AP) process.

• Ensure accurate invoice coding, approvals, and payment processing.

• Streamline AP workflows and implement automation wherever feasible.

• Act as the primary owner of the finance ticketing system.

• Manage and prioritize ad-hoc finance requests throughout the organization.

• Function as a generalist finance operator, facilitating solutions across accounting, finance operations, and reporting.

• Ensure that requests are addressed promptly, accurately, and with excellent communication.

• Provide support and facilitate budgeting and forecasting activities.

• Collaborate with finance leadership to monitor budget versus actual performance.

• Assist in financial analysis to support operational decision-making.

• Continuously seek to improve finance operations in a dynamic environment.

• Implement automation, tools, and improvements in workflows.

• Maintain thorough documentation and scalable processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 10 years of relevant experience.

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required; a CPA license is essential, and a Master's degree is preferred but not mandatory.

• Extensive expertise in US GAAP accounting.

• Proven experience managing full monthly closing processes in a global multi-entity environment.

• Ownership experience in Accounts Payable processes.

• Strong capability to handle high-volume operational requests.

• Exceptional attention to detail is a must.

• Ability to excel in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment.

• Preferred qualifications include:

• - Experience in cryptocurrency, digital assets, or fintech sectors.

• - Proficiency with Power Query or advanced Excel tools.

• - Experience in budgeting, forecasting, or financial planning.

• - Background in enhancing finance operations and automation.
