Accounting Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Manage the client relationship and accounting services for a Decimal franchise location.

• Act as the primary contact for the client, offering expert advice and support.

• Lead the analyst team's activities.

• Take charge of operational aspects of accounting delivery alongside the Firm Principal/Franchise Owner.

• Supervise accounting functions for various clients.

• Employ a technology-driven approach to problem-solving.

• Oversee and assess analyst tasks related to A/P, A/R, payroll, bank reconciliations, and adjusting journal entries.

• Identify potential for automation, delegation, and enhancements in processes.

• Highlight strategic issues to the Firm Principal/Franchise Owner.

• Prepare and review general ledger entries along with necessary documentation.

• Conduct, analyze, and evaluate balance sheet reconciliations.

• Investigate and address inquiries concerning general ledger items.

• Elevate client relationship issues to the Firm Principal/Franchise Owner when necessary.

• Ensure compliance with all daily, weekly, and monthly deadlines.

• This position may involve corporate assignments and deployment to a franchisee, or may work directly with a franchisee based on business requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5+ years of experience in public accounting or full-cycle accounting.

• A minimum of 2+ years in client relationship management.

• At least 2+ years of experience with QuickBooks Online (QBO) is necessary.

• Familiarity with cloud accounting tools such as Bill.com, Ramp, etc., is advantageous.

• Previous experience managing multiple clients.

• Ability to communicate effectively and clearly with clients and team members.

• Strong analytical capabilities.

• Exceptional problem-solving skills, including top-notch Google-it abilities.

• Interest in utilizing cutting-edge technology.

• Openness to questioning established processes.

• Must be able to address inquiries related to employment sponsorship in the United States.
