Accounting Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Take charge of and perform month-end closing activities, which include journal entries, account reconciliations, transaction coding, and the preparation of financial statements.

• Ensure the accuracy of the general ledger and confirm that all entries are adequately supported and ready for audit.

• Execute regular weekly accounting duties such as monitoring data synchronization, processing transactions, and maintaining reports.

• Recognize and apply process enhancements that boost efficiency and precision in financial reporting.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on various projects, including ERP enhancements, data flow management, and support for tax preparation.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of accounting experience with direct responsibility for month-end closing and general ledger accounting.

• Proficiency in NetSuite is preferred.

• Experience with ecommerce or small to medium-sized US companies is preferred.

• A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; CPA or equivalent certification is a plus.

• Strong communication skills in English; comfortable collaborating with global teams across different time zones.
