Accounting Engagements Intake

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Complete a written intake of approximately 30 minutes regarding your professional accounting experience.

• Outline your daily accounting workflows and duties.

• Detail how your time is allocated among various activities.

• Identify the workflows and processes that are essential to your role.

• Clarify the differences among accounting specialties and areas of practice.

• Provide practical insights that may not be found in textbooks or public resources.

• Emphasize the less apparent aspects of accounting work that may be overlooked by outsiders or project designers.

• Offer examples of tools, processes, judgment calls, and decision-making points.

• Assist in shaping the scope and framework of future accounting engagements.

• Contribute to the design of upcoming accounting research and AI-evaluation projects.

• Identify specialized accounting areas for future projects.

• Enhance the matching and routing for opportunities that align with your professional expertise.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a practicing or recently practicing accounting professional.

• Experience in public accounting, corporate accounting and finance, audit and assurance, tax, advisory, financial reporting, or technical accounting is required.

• A CPA or equivalent professional accounting credential is preferred.

• Significant practical experience in a specialized accounting domain is highly valued, even without professional certification.

• Willingness to provide detailed and specific responses regarding the mechanics and realities of accounting work.

• Strong understanding of accounting workflows, professional standards, tools, and decision-making processes is essential.

• H-1B and STEM OPT candidates are not currently supported.
