This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Process vendor invoices, ensuring they are accurate and correctly matched to purchase orders and receiving documents.
β’ Prepare and issue payments in line with established policies and timelines.
β’ Carry out billing, payment, and collections tasks as assigned.
β’ Reconcile accounts and promptly investigate any discrepancies.
β’ Reconcile daily cash receipts and deposits, ensuring all supporting documentation is included.
β’ Assist with bank reconciliations and address discrepancies as needed.
β’ Monitor discrepancies and escalate them appropriately.
β’ Prepare and enter journal entries, as well as assist with month-end closing procedures.
β’ Maintain accurate and well-organized financial records.
β’ Support account reconciliations, variance research, and audit requests.
β’ Assist with the payroll process as required based on client needs.
β’ Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and data summaries for leadership.
β’ Preferred: Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent education and relevant experience.
β’ 1β3 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping, or financial operations; experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
β’ Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
β’ Familiarity with basic accounting principles and practices.
β’ Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
β’ Strong organizational and time-management capabilities.
β’ Ability to maintain confidentiality and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
β’ Excellent communication and customer service skills.
β’ Confidentiality of financial and patient-related information is maintained.
β’ General support provided to finance team members as needed.
