Accounting Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Turkey.

📋 Description

• Facilitate the onboarding process for new clients, ensuring a seamless transition and effective configuration of accounting systems.

• Oversee daily bookkeeping activities, such as managing accounts payable and receivable, monthly closings, and the preparation of financial reports and analyses.

• Utilize company software to perform accounting, reporting, and tax-related duties with precision and efficiency.

• Generate payroll, sales tax returns, depreciation schedules, and other accounting documentation in accordance with professional standards.

• Support audits and reconciliations to guarantee financial accuracy and adherence to compliance regulations.

• Evaluate financial data to project revenue and assess profit margins.

• Prepare and submit U.S. corporate and individual income tax returns (including 1099s and year-end filings).

• Investigate complex tax and accounting matters to deliver practical solutions.

• Participate in special projects and assist in the preparation of financial reports as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possess a bachelor’s degree in relevant fields such as accounting, finance, economics, or business.

• Have at least 2 years of experience in accounting, auditing, and/or tax-related roles.

• Turkish CPA (SMMM) License is considered a significant advantage.

• Experience in outsourced accounting services is a notable plus.

• Familiarity with USGAAP is a considerable benefit.

• Have extensive knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.

• Experience with Accounting Software Systems is a significant advantage.

• Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills in Business English - **All interviews will be conducted in English!**
