Accounting and Tax Assistant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Assist in the classification and reconciliation of accounts;

• Aid in the preparation of trial balances and financial statements;

• Conduct review and analysis of invoices;

• Perform tax calculations and determinations (PIS, COFINS, CSLL, IRPJ, IRRF, CSRF, INSS, ISS, ICMS, IPI, DIFAL);

• Manage the filing of tax returns and ancillary obligations (DCTF, EDF Contribuições, REINF, SPED);

• Address client inquiries to clarify issues related to accounting and tax processes;

• Execute additional tasks pertinent to the department.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting (completed or currently pursuing);

• Previous knowledge or experience in accounting and tax processes;

• Must be organized, detail-oriented, and possess strong communication skills;

• Required to have the necessary setup for a fully remote work environment;

• Familiarity with accounting software such as Alterdata, UAU, RM Labore, Protheus, Sienge, among others;

• Experience in commerce, services, and real estate development sectors.
