Accounting Analyst, Mid-level

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Aggregate the monthly accounting data of the group in accordance with IFRS, including system support and maintenance.

• Create individual and consolidated quarterly/half-year financial statements adhering to BACEN GAAP and IFRS.

• Prepare regulatory accounting reports for the Central Bank (BACEN).

• Develop accounting policies and operational manuals for the department.

• Offer technical assistance during internal and external audits.

• Review calculations and supporting documentation related to IFRS 2 (share-based payments).

• Evaluate and determine accounting treatments for new transactions in accordance with CPCs and IFRS.

• Engage in regulatory compliance initiatives.

• Support and maintain the accounting consolidation system.

• Aim for efficiency improvements through automation and process enhancement.

• Draft technical memoranda.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting (Ciências Contábeis).

• Proficient knowledge of IFRS.

• Experience in preparing financial statements and regulatory accounting.

• Background in supporting and managing external independent audits.
