Accounting Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Educating client accounting personnel on the functionalities of KeyStone.

• Assisting credit unions with the reconciliation of clearing and suspense accounts.

• Creating financial statements.

• Acting as a remote resource, with on-site availability during the conversion week as required.

• Collaborating closely with the client and mentor to gain insights into the client's current functionalities and processes.

• Advising clients on how to adapt existing processes to fit KeyStone.

• Guiding clients through the conversion process and offering training and support during and after the transition.

• Collaborating with clients on the table mapping to the new General Ledger chart of accounts, General Ledger accrual types, accounts payable vendors, invoice types, and work queues.

• Offering assistance in setting up batch jobs for all General Ledger related functions.

• Grasping and applying fundamental database setup concepts that involve General Ledger information.

• Providing training through Web-ex on KeyStone’s General Ledger product.

• Traveling on-site for General Ledger conversion and support as necessary.

• Ensuring effective communication with clients and team members throughout the entire conversion process.

• Recognizing potential issues and securing appropriate resolutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.

• Experience in Credit Union or Banking is preferred.

• A college degree in accounting is preferred, or equivalent multi-craft skills gained through extensive on-the-job training or apprenticeship programs, or substantial industry-specific technical skills acquired through a combination of formal education and practical experience.
