Accounting Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Execute accounting bookkeeping tasks, which include bank reconciliations and the preparation of financial statements and ratios for entities operating under Simples Nacional and Lucro Presumido (Brazilian tax regimes).

• Submit ancillary tax documentation, such as DEFIS, ECD, and ECF.

• Register accounting records with the Commercial Registries.

• Assist the support team and other accounting colleagues by providing clarity on technical inquiries.

• Aid in the distribution of workloads and resolution of issues, and actively participate in necessary meetings.

⛳️ Requirements

• Understanding of general accounting principles.

• Familiarity with Questor accounting software.

• Intermediate knowledge of tax regulations.

• Advanced understanding of accounting regulations.

• Awareness of accounting ancillary obligations.

• Proficiency in analyzing and reconciling accounting accounts.

• Intermediate ability in preparing and analyzing financial and accounting statements.

• Intermediate understanding of payroll-related taxes.

• Experience in preparing, validating, and submitting ECD and ECF filings for companies taxed under Lucro Presumido.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (Ciências Contábeis).

• Registration with the CRC (Regional Accounting Council).
