Accounting Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.

📋 Description

• Input and oversee Accounts Payable transactions within the Intacct accounting software, ensuring precision and adherence to compliance standards.

• Assess and validate employee expense reports and timesheet entries for correctness.

• Aid in the preparation and compilation of invoices, ensuring all required documentation is included.

• Conduct routine accounting activities such as data entry and account reconciliations.

• Keep well-organized records of financial transactions for audit trails and compliance verification.

• Assist the accounting team in producing reports and financial statements.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

• Relevant experience in foundational accounting duties, including Accounts Payable processing, expense reports review, and invoicing.

• Familiarity with Intacct accounting software or comparable accounting systems is advantageous.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and other standard office applications.

• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial transactions and associated documentation.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with team members and other stakeholders.

• Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
