Accounting Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Ensure precise financial reporting, compliance, and reconciliation for the SaaS and the bank’s financial operations.

• Achieve 100% accuracy in weekly reports for suppliers and partners, ensuring timely delivery.

• Provide prompt and accurate assistance for all tax-related inquiries, maintaining a 100% satisfaction rate.

• Actively support both internal and external requirements, receiving commendations for organization and responsiveness.

• Streamline the month-end closing process to 8/9 calendar days within the first six months.

• Effectively oversee the reconciliation of designated accounts, completing them within 6 calendar days.

• Implement at least two process enhancements that boost efficiency and accuracy, with quantifiable reductions in processing time.

• Collaborate with Treasury, FP&A, and Capital Markets teams, providing insightful financial analysis that drives key initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in Accounting.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.

• A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in accounting processes within a medium or large organization.

• Familiarity with GAAP or IFRS and other pertinent accounting standards.

• Proficient in accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, preferably Netsuite).

• Strong Excel capabilities and experience with data analysis tools.

• Exceptional analytical and process improvement skills.

• High level of precision in preparing financial reports and reconciliations.

• Strategic AI Integration (Crucial): Proactively identifies, designs, and implements process improvements by incorporating AI and automation tools.

• Ability to conduct complex financial data analysis and deliver actionable insights.

• Strong analytical skills for identifying financial discrepancies, resolving issues, and enhancing efficiency.

• Exhibits solid ownership and dedication to their craft.

• Demonstrates knowledge of compliance and regulatory standards.
