Accountant – Zoho Books Expertise

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee comprehensive accounting and financial operations related to trading activities.

• Maintain the general ledger and create journal entries.

• Assist with month-end and year-end financial closing processes.

• Prepare, issue, and manage invoices for both domestic and international trade.

• Provide support for Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions, including vendor payments, customer collections, and aging reports.

• Conduct bank reconciliations and ensure accurate financial record-keeping.

• Collaborate with external auditors during scheduled audits.

• Prepare balance sheet schedules along with supporting documentation.

• Assist with tax filings, payroll entries, and compliance-related activities.

• Keep financial documentation organized across various business sectors.

• Generate internal reports and aid in ad-hoc financial analysis.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 2 years of accounting experience in a similar finance/accounting position.

• Proficiency in Zoho Books for invoicing, Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable, reconciliation, and reporting.

• Strong understanding of general ledger management, journal entries, reconciliation, and month-end/year-end closing.

• Experience with invoicing for trade transactions; familiarity with domestic and international trade invoicing is a plus.

• High level of accuracy, keen attention to detail, and proficient organization of financial records and documentation.

• Solid working knowledge of Excel and comfort with financial reporting tools.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related discipline.

• Preferred experience in trading, commodities, import/export, or multi-entity environments.

• Prior experience in supporting external audits and preparing balance sheet schedules is advantageous.
