Accountant, US Client

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Manage all financial operations and controls for the US.

• Prepare and review monthly management accounts in alignment with US GAAP.

• Oversee P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow reporting.

• Ensure the integrity of the general ledger and its supporting schedules.

• Coordinate US tax compliance, including sales tax and related filings.

• Collaborate with US CPAs, tax advisors, and auditors.

• Ensure timely and accurate statutory and regulatory reporting.

• Develop annual budgets and rolling forecasts.

• Monitor performance against budget and analyze variances.

• Provide valuable financial analysis to aid in decision-making.

• Manage and optimize QuickBooks Online and finance workflows.

• Create scalable finance processes and internal controls.

• Enhance reporting efficiency and accuracy.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience.

• Demonstrated experience as a Financial Controller or Senior Accountant for US entities.

• CPA qualification is mandatory.

• Availability from 9 AM to 5 PM East Coast Time (USA).

• Familiarity with US sales tax, with multi-state experience preferred.

• Strong understanding of US GAAP and financial reporting standards.

• Experience in managing QuickBooks-based finance operations.

• Excellent analytical skills and effective communication with stakeholders.

• Proven track record in people management, team leadership, and overseeing finance/accounting operations.
