Accountant – Singapore Clients

📋 Description

• In your role as an Accountant, you will be instrumental in delivering exceptional accounting services to our clients.

• You will oversee and manage a substantial portfolio of accounting clients, serving as the primary contact for all inquiries.

• Effective planning of your workload is essential, along with providing strong leadership, supervision, and guidance to your team to ensure that all deliverables align with the defined scope of services and deadlines.

• A comprehensive understanding of the regulatory requirements for various company structures in Singapore, particularly private limited companies, is necessary.

• For your designated clients, you will need the capability to review and/or prepare management accounts and schedules, corporate tax computations, payroll reports, GST reports, and other statutory filings, ensuring their accuracy and completeness prior to client delivery.

• A key aspect of your role will involve preparing Unaudited/Group Unaudited Financial Statements and XBRL for clients, with a commitment to zero errors.

• You must uphold the highest standards of professionalism and maintain strict confidentiality regarding client matters.

⛳️ Requirements

• A recognized degree or diploma in Accountancy is required.

• Preference will be given to candidates who hold professional certification such as ACCA, CPA, or CA.

• Candidates who are not yet certified should ideally have 5-7 years of relevant experience, while professionally certified candidates should have 2-3 years of applicable experience.

• A solid understanding of SFRS and compliance with Singapore regulatory standards is essential.

• Proficiency with Google Workspace and Microsoft applications is required.

• Experience with cloud accounting software, particularly Xero, is a definite advantage, ideally with at least one year of familiarity.

• A resourceful mindset and experience with various productivity tools to facilitate daily tasks are desired.

• A self-motivated individual with a positive attitude, proactive approach, and keen attention to detail is essential.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, along with a passion for meeting new people, are important.

• Ability to adapt to a VUCA (Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity, Ambiguity) mindset and contribute to process improvement initiatives is crucial.

• The capability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines is necessary.

• Immediate availability is preferred.
