This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Hungary.
• Prepare and conduct reviews of account reconciliations.
• Prepare and evaluate journal entries to ensure adherence to local accounting regulations and US GAAP.
• Facilitate the prompt preparation of assigned journal entries, enhancing efficiency.
• Conduct periodic analyses of the balance sheet.
• Collaborate with auditors to address inquiries related to control processes and account reconciliations.
• Manage daily treasury operations, encompassing cash positioning, liquidity planning, bank reconciliations, and ensuring optimal cash flow to fulfill business requirements.
• Oversee intercompany transactions and reconciliations, guaranteeing accuracy, timely settlement, and compliance with internal policies and accounting standards.
• Monitor and reconcile inventory balances, ensuring precise valuation, timely adjustments, and adherence to accounting policies and internal controls.
• Supervise the Fixed Asset register and Finance Master Data to ensure correct capitalization, accurate depreciation, high-quality data maintenance, and compliance with internal policies and accounting standards.
• Contribute to the preparation of statutory financial reports in accordance with local GAAP standards (monthly, quarterly, and annually).
• Assist in the preparation and submission of monthly VAT returns, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded and compliant with relevant tax regulations.
• Oversee the Month-End Closing (MEC) process, ensuring the accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in accounting or finance (or a high school diploma/GED or equivalent with relevant experience in an accounting or finance role).
• Strong analytical abilities.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal capabilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word).
• Strong focus on process improvement.
• Knowledge of Oracle Applications Release 12 / SAP and higher.
