Accountant II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.

📋 Description

• Manages the General Ledger.

• Compiles financial statements.

• Conducts account analyses.

• Interprets and assesses financial reports for various management staff.

• Generates monthly general and standard journal entries, financial statements and comparative reports, monthly account reconciliations, and cost reports.

• Creates specialized reports and financial analyses as needed or requested by administration and finance.

• Examines financial reports and records to incorporate into financial studies and various management reports.

• Reviews and confirms the accuracy of financial reports prepared by other accountants.

• Supervises the coding and data entry into the financial data processing system.

• Acts as a consultant regarding the financial matters of the hospital.

• Prepares monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for federal, state, or other regulatory bodies.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.

• A minimum of three (3) years of experience in accounting, finance, or a related area.

• Knowledge of GAAP is preferred.

• Strong analytical and conceptual skills.

• Excellent oral and written communication abilities.

• Strong interpersonal skills.
