Accountant – Housecalls

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Manage the month-end closing process for the Housecalls business line, which includes preparing journal entries, reviewing financial statements, and conducting monthly account reconciliations.

• Assist with acquisition integration efforts, including reconciling revenues, expenses, and vendor transitions.

• Create and distribute various financial analyses and reports.

• Oversee accounts payable and authorize payments.

• Engage in financial audits.

• Identify and implement process enhancements to improve efficiency and accuracy.

• Stay informed about changes in accounting regulations and standards to ensure compliance.

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to aid in financial decision-making and strategic planning.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

• Experience in Part-B and provider care delivery is highly desirable.

• Over 5 years of experience in an accounting position with a focus on month-end closes.

• Proficient in accounting software and technology, with a strong preference for high-level NetSuite experience.

• Advanced Excel skills are required.

• Capable of assessing financial conditions and implementing efficient processes.

• Strong analytical and organizational abilities.

• Excellent communication skills, both in-person and through phone and email.

• Must exhibit tact, discretion, and maintain confidentiality of information.

• Outstanding time management and prioritization skills.

• Proven ability to function effectively as both a team member and an individual contributor.
