Accountant - Hong Kong Clients

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in China.

📋 Description

• Oversee and document clients' daily financial transactions, complete posting procedures, and confirm that all transactions are accurately entered into the general ledger.

• Conduct regular reconciliations for banks and accounts.

• Maintain comprehensive sets of accounts for various clients and assist in the creation of monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts.

• Prepare and manage audit schedules, which include fixed assets, accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), accruals, and prepayments.

• Ensure that all accounting practices and financial reports adhere strictly to The Small and Medium-sized Entity Financial Reporting Standards (SME-FRS).

• Execute other ad-hoc accounting and administrative tasks as assigned by the Manager.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

• A minimum of 5 years of relevant accounting experience (experience in an accounting or corporate services firm is a significant advantage).

• A solid grasp of Hong Kong Accounting Standards.

• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero) and advanced skills in MS Office, particularly Excel.

• Strong command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese/Mandarin).

• Excellent organizational abilities and the capacity to manage multiple clients effectively.
