This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Engage in continuous financial accounting tasks, encompassing accounts receivable, accounts payable, and fixed assets management.
• Accurate examination, assignment, and posting of incoming and outgoing invoices.
• Conduct intercompany reconciliations and settlements among various entities.
• Manage payment transaction administration.
• Provide active assistance for the preparation of upcoming annual financial statements in accordance with HGB (balance sheet, income statement/P&L, cash flow).
• Oversee and execute monthly reporting, including commentary on management reports (BWA).
• Analyze variances between budgeted and actual figures, along with deriving actionable business measures.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, reports, and liquidity overviews for both internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with tax advisors, auditors, and tax authorities.
• Work across multiple entities, handling approximately 150,000 postings annually.
• Strong professional background in accounting covering accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed assets, and intercompany transactions.
• Preferably have experience in a multi-entity environment or in a position with extensive individual responsibility.
• Proficient in detailed invoice verification and account coding.
• Solid comprehension of financial statements in accordance with HGB.
• Ideally have experience in contributing to annual financial statements.
• Controlling skills: the ability to derive KPIs, forecasts, and business measures from financial data.
• Proficient use of DATEV is essential.
• Advanced skills in Excel.
• Quick learner.
• High level of independence.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Business-fluent in both German and English, written and spoken.
• Initial experience with BI tools and constructing reporting structures from scratch is advantageous.
• Background in hospitality, real estate, or a multi-entity setup is beneficial.
• Interest in automation and process optimization (API integrations, posting automation) is a plus.
