Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Deliver outstanding accounting and operational services to our clientele.

• Showcase a comprehensive understanding of professional accounting and bookkeeping principles.

• Assist in the client onboarding process for all designated client engagements in line with established procedures.

• Carry out, as necessary, processes related to accounts payable and receivable management, bookkeeping entries, monthly book closures, as well as the preparation of financial reports and analyses.

• Work alongside your manager and fellow Associates to ensure that all clients are pleased with our services through prompt and effective communication.

• Oversee daily client relationships while operating within defined processes and budget constraints.

• Identify and suggest to your manager opportunities where Supporting Strategies could offer additional services or tools to enhance client value and efficiency.

• Engage in regular team and one-on-one video check-in meetings to ensure alignment for success.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.

• Over 5 years of full-cycle accounting experience (including accounts payable, accounts receivable, monthly book closures, and financial report preparation).

• At least 1 year of transactional accounting experience with QuickBooks or NetSuite.

• Experience in a multi-client setting is highly preferred.

• Availability and dedication to work during business hours (8:00 am – 5:00 pm EST, CST, MST, or PST).

• Managed daily client relationships while adhering to established processes and budgetary limits.

• Demonstrated enthusiasm and personal fulfillment in delighting clients and contributing to business success.

• Commitment to uphold the highest level of confidentiality when handling client information.
