Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Focus on financial accounting, particularly in managing accounts payable and accounts receivable.

• Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with HGB (German Commercial Code).

• Creation of financial statements for international subsidiaries and handling consolidations.

• Conducting payment runs and performing account reconciliations.

• Development and enhancement of accounting processes, along with assistance in automating repetitive tasks.

• Close collaboration with internal teams and external partners, such as tax advisors and auditors.

⛳️ Requirements

• Completed vocational training in commerce or a relevant degree in business or economics.

• Several years of experience in accounting, preferably within a digital setting.

• Proficient in MS Excel, with experience using ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics NAV / Business Central, DATEV).

• Background in process digitalization.

• A keen interest in enhancing and refining existing structures and workflows.

• Native-level German proficiency and good English skills for internal communications.

• Highly precise, structured, and capable of working independently.

• Strong sense of responsibility and discretion.
