Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Execute comprehensive accounting functions across various entities.

• Oversee accounts payable (AP) entries and cash postings.

• Prepare and record payroll journal entries.

• Document and manage accruals.

• Conduct account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.

• Analyze financial statements for precision and completeness.

• Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related discipline.

• 3–5+ years of accounting experience with comprehensive full-cycle accounting duties.

• Proficiency in accounts payable (AP).

• Familiarity with cash postings.

• Experience in preparing payroll journal entries.

• Knowledge of accruals.

• Competence in account reconciliations.

• Ability to review financial statements.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.

• Sage Intacct experience is a mandatory requirement.

• Strong analytical capabilities, attention to detail, and organizational skills.

• Enthusiasm for utilizing AI and automation to boost efficiency and accounting processes.

• Self-driven with the ability to work independently in a remote setting.

• A process-improvement mindset geared towards accuracy and efficiency.
