This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Offer expert guidance on personal and business finances, pinpointing specific strategies to enhance savings and improve investment frameworks.

• Create and oversee strong cash flow models and operational budgets to guarantee both business liquidity and personal financial safety.

• Manage comprehensive tax planning and optimization techniques, ensuring all necessary submissions are handled accurately to reduce risk.

• Convert financial data into concise, actionable insights, providing structured assessments to facilitate informed decision-making.

⛳️ Requirements

• Relevant accounting qualification (e.g., Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting, Advanced Diploma in Accounting, or its equivalent).

• Demonstrated experience as a practicing Accountant, with expertise covering both individual asset portfolios and small business accounts.

• In-depth, up-to-date knowledge of South African tax laws and compliance obligations.

• Capability to operate independently as a consultant, delivering high-level strategic results within a limited monthly time frame.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for financial forecasting and budgetary analysis.

• Practical experience with common South African cloud accounting platforms (e.g., Xero or Sage Pastel).

• Solid understanding of SARS e-Filing systems.
