Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Egypt.

📋 Description

• Records and manages the Company's financial transactions in line with relevant accounting standards and internal protocols.

• Handles accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring accuracy and prompt execution.

• Conducts reconciliations for banks, suppliers, customers, and the general ledger.

• Prepares and executes payments to suppliers, employees, and other third parties.

• Issues invoices to customers and oversees collections in collaboration with the respective departments.

• Aids in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

• Assists in the preparation and filing of tax declarations and statutory reports in compliance with applicable laws.

• Keeps precise accounting records and ensures proper organization of financial documents.

• Supports budget monitoring, cost analysis, and financial reporting activities.

• Works alongside external auditors, tax advisors, banks, and governmental authorities when necessary.

• Facilitates internal and external audits by supplying the required financial information and documentation.

• Ensures adherence to company policies, accounting standards, and relevant tax and financial regulations.

• Identifies opportunities to enhance accounting procedures and internal financial controls.

• Performs additional accounting and financial responsibilities as assigned by the Finance Manager or General Management.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related area.

• At least 3–5 years of professional experience in an accounting or finance role.

• Strong understanding of accounting principles, tax laws, and financial reporting obligations.

• Familiarity with ERP systems and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

• Experience in construction, industrial, maritime, or project-based sectors is a plus.

• Excellent command of both Greek and English languages.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication abilities.
