Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Malta.

📋 Description

• Prepare monthly financial reports and management accounts.

• Execute reconciliations for bank statements, balance sheets, and general ledgers.

• Oversee the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.

• Assist with external audits and fulfill regulatory reporting obligations.

• Ensure adherence to accounting standards and tax compliance.

• Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning efforts.

• Identify areas for enhancing financial processes and internal controls.

• Provide support to the broader Finance team in daily accounting operations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Fully qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA, CPA, or equivalent), or nearing the completion of qualification.

• At least 2 years of relevant experience in accounting.

• Profound understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

• Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Experience in the cryptocurrency sector will be considered a plus.

• Capability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities.

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.
