Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Execute all accounting responsibilities related to designated properties, including bank reconciliation, funding oversight, general ledger analysis, fixed asset reconciliation, journal entry preparation, and loan posting.

• Carry out assigned duties associated with the monthly closure of the accounting records.

• Establish a new bank account and manage all necessary tasks following the acquisition or disposition of a property.

• Generate reports for the management of the accounting team, as directed.

• Complete additional projects and assignments as designated by accounting leadership.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in accounting and a CPA license are mandatory.

• Graduate with honors (cum laude or higher) from a university recognized for its academic prestige.

• At least 2-4 years of relevant accounting experience is required.

• Experience in broad-based accounting within the real estate sector is advantageous.

• Strong organizational abilities, including skills in prioritization and multitasking.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, encompassing Word, Excel, and Outlook.

• Excellent communication skills, allowing for effective and professional interaction with all organizational levels and external parties.

• Capability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.

• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

• A robust work ethic is essential.

• Must be a collaborative team member.

• Experience with Yardi is preferred.
