This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Collaborate closely with the Controller to enhance the month-end processes.
β’ Prepare journal entries, accruals, and adjustments to ensure the timely and accurate completion of month-end and year-end closing processes.
β’ Reconcile general ledger accounts, proactively identify discrepancies, and maintain the integrity of financial reporting.
β’ Assist in meeting regulatory reporting obligations such as surveys, franchise taxes, and annual reports, ensuring compliance with relevant deadlines.
β’ Act as a point of contact for employee and vendor inquiries, working with internal teams to resolve issues promptly.
β’ Provide support for ad hoc financial analysis and special projects to guide business decisions and enhance operational efficiency.
β’ Review, code, and process vendor invoices, employee reimbursements, and corporate card transactions per company policy and accounting standards.
β’ Maintain and update vendor records, accounts payable inbox, and the Company Finance calendar to ensure timely tracking of essential reporting and compliance deadlines.
β’ A minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a high-growth or startup setting.
β’ Strong grasp of GAAP and general accounting principles.
β’ Experience with payroll processing and accounts payable workflows.
β’ Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar platforms.
β’ Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to adhere to recurring deadlines.
β’ CPA candidate or a bachelor's degree in Accounting is preferred.
β’ Annual salary range of $70,000 - $80,000.
