Accountant Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Accurately prepare and invoice all clients in a timely manner.

• Record and process monthly invoices for subcontractors.

• Import time data from subcontractors for billing the delivery team.

• Manage payment batches for both mid-month and end-of-month.

• Record vendor bills for Intercompany entities accurately.

• Post journal entries related to payroll.

• Calculate and document employee variable compensation.

• Compute and record accruals for employee loyalty bonuses.

• Calculate and log accruals for employee referral bonuses.

• Submit requests for employee referral eligibility.

• Write off variable compensation for employees who have terminated or resigned.

• Compute sales commissions and log related journal entries.

• Reconcile bank accounts effectively.

• Monthly reconciliation of credit card accounts.

• Prepare entries for GST/HST remittance.

• Submit cost allocation reports to Delivery Leaders.

• Compute and log journal entries for inter-departmental cross charges.

• Compute and log journal entries for Intercompany charges.

• Compute and log journal entries for other internal allocations as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance.

• Familiarity with bank reconciliation, journal entries, and payroll accounting.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or similar).

• Strong organizational and analytical capabilities.

• Ability to independently manage multiple deadlines and tasks.

• Effective communication skills, especially in virtual team settings.
