Accountant, Advisory Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborating with Senior Management to shape the strategy for the accounting department and quality group.

• Overseeing a portfolio of clients and acting as the primary point-of-contact, ensuring clients are well-informed about engagement progress and that all deadlines are met promptly.

• Leading an in-person and remote team by organizing schedules and actively participating in client meetings and business planning initiatives.

• Conducting a final quality control review on the accounting reports prepared by the team on a monthly, quarterly, or annual basis.

• Assisting team members by providing on-the-job training and constructive performance feedback.

• Leveraging technology to foster continuous learning, sharing insights with team members, improving service delivery, and nurturing collaborative relationships with other engagement teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is required.

• A minimum of 3 to 5 years of managerial experience in accounting.

• At least 3 years of experience working in an accounting firm.

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously.

• Capability to meet deadlines or communicate proactively if unable to do so.

• A preference for working independently while valuing teamwork.

• A strong commitment to maintaining integrity and confidentiality.

• Proficiency in French or another foreign language is an advantage.
