This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assess and manage Workday transactions to ensure compliance and precision.
• Create and handle data files utilizing mass data upload tools.
• Prepare and record accounting journals along with budget modifications.
• Generate various financial reports, encompassing state, federal, and ad-hoc reports.
• Support year-end activities.
• Conduct reconciliations for general ledger accounts.
• Aid in collecting and evaluating data for the preparation of the fiscal year budget.
• Offer assistance to other departments within the Business Office as needed for various accounting tasks.
• Engage in the design and execution of new processes and procedures.
• Execute additional duties as assigned.
• A bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration, or a related field is required.
• Two years of pertinent professional experience.
• Experience with Workday financial systems.
• Background in Higher Education or State Government.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
