This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.
• Drive product promotion to achieve or surpass sales targets in community/private practices as well as hospitals/health systems.
• Adhere to all company policies, complete required reports, respond to requests, ensure promotional compliance, and effectively manage AbbVie field assets.
• Identify and address customer needs (training, clinical, operational, reimbursement) by utilizing appropriate AbbVie resources.
• Deliver expert training on anatomical and procedural information, including the correct use of anatomical terminology for training injection paradigms and postures.
• Provide education and clinical/injection training for residents, fellows, and other essential hospital personnel.
• Collaborate with fellow Account Specialists to promote the product for approved indications and execute training for residents or fellows within hospital/health system accounts.
• Effectively leverage AbbVie's sales and data resources to boost productivity and the growth of AbbVie products while implementing the U.S. Marketing Plan.
• Bachelor's degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a business-related field is preferred; relevant and equivalent industry experience is required.
• Minimum of five (5) years of technical experience, with at least three (3) years in sales preferred.
• High school diploma/GED is required.
• Ability to manage complex sales processes and rapidly learn procedural, technical, clinical, and anatomical information.
• Experience with Buy & Bill and/or Specialty Pharmacy products is preferred.
• Capability to lift/pull training models weighing between 25–100 lbs. and fulfill necessary hospital credentialing/vaccination requirements.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening test while meeting safe driving standards.
• Proven track record of strong sales performance in a clinical, technical, or consultative sales role.
