Account Specialist – Automotive Collision

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky.

📋 Description

• Serve as the primary liaison for designated customers, fostering strong, cooperative relationships.

• Comprehend the essential components of each customer’s business agreement.

• Create and implement account plans that address product, color, and service requirements.

• Articulate the value and advantages of Axalta’s products, colors, and services.

• Engage the necessary resources to fulfill customer demands.

• Maintain organized communication with customers and record interactions in Salesforce (SFDC).

• Address issues promptly and identify opportunities for process enhancements.

• Prioritize responsibilities and contribute to regional revenue, profitability, customer retention, and distributor management outcomes.

• Support standard operating procedures while promoting Axalta training sessions and local performance groups.

• Spearhead paint conversion initiatives and seek distribution resources.

• Ensure accurate account information and contact details are maintained in Salesforce.

• Utilize SharePoint, Salesforce, and Microsoft Office to enhance productivity and communication.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and/or a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the Automotive Refinish industry.

• In-depth understanding of the collision repair, commercial transportation, and industrial business sectors.

• Familiarity with distribution principles.

• Working knowledge of Axalta’s primary product lines and the fundamentals of repair shop operations.

• Capability to identify customer needs and collaboratively resolve issues.

• Self-motivated and capable of working efficiently in unstructured and independent environments.

• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

• Proficient computer skills.

• Expertise in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

• Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% of the time.

• A valid Driver’s License is required.

• Must be located in either the Northern KY or Southern IN surrounding area.

• Not eligible for relocation or sponsorship.
