Account Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Provide assistance to progressive organizations and Democratic campaigns.

• Educate and train clients about TargetSmart’s data and services.

• Oversee an assigned client portfolio through regular meetings and communications.

• Meet with clients to discuss their initiatives and campaigns.

• Collaborate with Sales and Client Services teams on contract renewals and billing procedures.

• Address and resolve daily incoming inquiries and requests.

• Execute the necessary steps to onboard new clients.

• Input client data into the project management system and manage Salesforce accounts.

• Document, submit, track, and ensure the delivery of data requests.

• Assist in the planning and organization of the bi-annual client Roundtable event.

• Create Client Support materials, including product release information and training resources.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience with political data (e.g., voter files, model scores, donor lists, membership lists).

• Familiarity with at least one of TargetSmart’s ListBuilder, SmartVAN, or comparable online data querying tools.

• Knowledge of the voting process and political district boundaries.

• 3-4 years of experience in Democratic campaigns, progressive non-profits, PACs, polling firms, or political consulting.

• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).

• Ability to troubleshoot issues and resolve problems with quick turnaround times.

• Capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and see them through to completion within deadlines.

• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.

• Availability for after-hours and weekend support during the election cycle as needed.
