This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Define objectives, strategies, and action plans aimed at enhancing both short- and long-term sales for designated accounts; take ownership of the sales process from prospecting to closing.
• Drive revenue and gross margin for a portfolio of Tactical Data Link solutions within your assigned territory by implementing strategic and consultative selling approaches.
• Cultivate a trusted partnership with customers across all levels of influence and decision-making.
• Exhibit a comprehensive understanding of key business drivers relevant to customers.
• Oversee accounts and transactions across various customer locations and operational organizations within your territory.
• Showcase business acumen through the preparation of business cases, ROI analyses, cost/benefit analyses, and other relevant performance metrics.
• Lead account efforts in the development of responses to RFPs, RFIs, and unsolicited proposals.
• Create and deliver compelling sales presentations for assigned accounts.
• Analyze market data to identify customer needs, pricing structures, and discount policies.
• Keep up-to-date with emerging and cutting-edge solutions, products, and services.
• Conduct regular territory/account reviews with Sales Management.
• Provide timely and precise account status reports, forecasts, and business plans to sales leadership and operational teams as necessary.
• Travel frequently within your territory, establishing a schedule of sales calls to both existing and prospective customers.
• Additional responsibilities as assigned.
• Minimum of 4 years of progressive sales or account management experience, ideally within the Aerospace & Defense sector.
• Demonstrated success in closing complex B2B sales and managing long-cycle opportunities.
• Proven history of achieving quotas and/or fulfilling mission requirements is essential.
• Familiarity with Federal contracting processes.
• Outstanding negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
• Willingness to travel 50% of the time.
• Must possess the ability to self-motivate, organize workloads, and meet deadlines.
• Proficient in CRM platforms and sales analytics tools.
