This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• You will take on the responsibility of consulting and selling Radiodetection & Pearpoint equipment to both potential and existing clients across various sectors, including utilities, municipalities, contractors, land surveyors, engineers, construction, and mining.
• A primary objective will be to support your customers' growth and success.
• Your role will involve conducting face-to-face meetings with clients and performing site demonstrations within your territory for designated accounts, as well as prospecting for new clients.
• You will also allocate time for making outbound calls and sending emails.
• Conduct research and inquiries to thoroughly understand customers' needs and provide suitable product and service recommendations.
• Engage in outbound telephone sales and email correspondence.
• Perform external calls and demonstrations for both potential and existing customers.
• Participate in strategic account sales initiatives.
• Comprehend, position, and sell the comprehensive consumable portfolio of Cansel offerings (cross-selling).
• Undertake business development efforts from an existing customer base.
• Identify and explore new growth opportunities to achieve or surpass revenue targets.
• Manage current accounts and meet projected revenue targets.
• Collaborate closely with the Remote Sales Manager and Territory Sales Team to pinpoint opportunities and engage the necessary resources to develop them.
• Partner with the Sales Team on campaign-driven projects.
• Maintain excellent customer service relations and keep activity records in Salesforce (CRM).
• Experience with Pipe & Cable Locating and/or Camera Inspection.
• A strong desire and genuine interest in understanding our customers' businesses.
• Excellent customer service, interpersonal communication, and telephone skills.
• A strong drive to meet and exceed revenue targets.
• Ability to cultivate strong workplace relationships to foster a positive work environment.
• Willingness to travel within your territory and undertake overnight sales trips as necessary.
• An energetic, proactive individual who can work within a team and handle tasks with minimal supervision.
• Capability to multi-task and prioritize work activities effectively while maintaining composure and a positive attitude in a potentially fast-paced environment.
• Strong time management skills.
• Bonus points for field experience in general underground infrastructure.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Familiarity with computer information systems, including Salesforce and Microsoft Office, or similar platforms.
• Previous experience in Sales or Customer Service is a plus.
