Account Manager – South Florida

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Manage a portfolio of consultant and employer accounts, acting as the primary strategic partner responsible for retention, satisfaction, and long-term value creation.

• Assist in proactive account planning, risk assessment, and renewal strategy to safeguard recurring revenue and enhance the adoption of cost-saving solutions.

• Anticipate client needs by utilizing performance, utilization, and renewal data to mitigate churn and foster enduring partnerships.

• Establish and nurture trusted advisor relationships with consultants, agency service teams, and senior-level employer stakeholders.

• Confidently lead discussions at the executive level, including business reviews, strategy meetings, and the resolution of complex issues.

• Serve as the internal advocate for the customer, promoting client needs and influencing internal priorities.

• Build credibility through technical knowledge and the ability to effectively explain how the Pareto process operates, the underwriting process, the financial implications of plan changes, and how claims reporting relates to an employer's risk level.

• Oversee comprehensive renewal execution, including data validation, coordination with Underwriting, and communication with consultants.

• Utilize strong financial and analytical judgment to steer discussions on cost containment, plan performance, and economic trade-offs.

• Collaborate across functions to ensure accurate billing, documentation, and adherence to contractual obligations.

• Identify opportunities to enhance the adoption of Savings Engine solutions and services that boost client value, lower overall costs, and improve retention.

• Facilitate strategic planning sessions, business reviews, educational events, and ongoing check-ins that align client objectives with organizational initiatives, including the adoption of cost-saving solutions.

• Promote engagement in webinars, member meetings, and educational initiatives that reinforce the realization of value.

• Coordinate with territory partners such as sales, customer service, customer operations, finance, underwriting, and leadership to provide a seamless, high-quality customer experience.

• Take responsibility for timelines, processes, and deliverables, ensuring accountability for territory results.

• Leverage performance dashboards, utilization reports, and risk indicators to inform strategy and client recommendations.

• Transform complex data into clear, actionable insights for consultants and employer stakeholders.

• Maintain precise documentation and Salesforce records to support forecasting, reporting, and organizational visibility.

• Exercise independent judgment in prioritizing, escalating, and problem-solving within a dynamic portfolio.

• Navigate uncertainty with confidence, balancing speed, accuracy, and stakeholder impact.

• Continuously enhance expertise across various types of self-funding, claims reporting, TPA practices, Pareto solutions, and market trends.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience is required.

• 5+ years of experience in client-facing account management, customer success, consulting, or related roles.

• Experience in health insurance and/or self-insurance or related fields.

• Ability to manage consultative executive relationships throughout the client lifecycle, with exposure to renewal negotiations.

• Comfortable working with data, reports, and financial metrics.

• Experience in cross-functional collaboration to achieve exceptional results.

• Proficient in both written and verbal communication.

• Strong presentation skills and comfort presenting to large audiences.

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with a keen attention to detail, and the capability to handle substantial workloads with minimal supervision is essential.
