This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Manage a portfolio of restaurants, optimizing their Grubhub accounts, enhancing menu pages, and increasing conversion rates.
• Foster relationships with restaurant partners to drive growth.
• Acquire a comprehensive understanding of Grubhub's products and services, including their features, benefits, and value propositions.
• Aid in the management of a portfolio of accounts, ensuring timely communication and addressing any basic inquiries or concerns from clients.
• Support restaurants in attracting new diners, increasing order volume, and delivering exceptional service to their customers.
• Conduct regular check-ins with restaurant partners to collect feedback, evaluate satisfaction levels, and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Address restaurant inquiries, account issues, and requests, or direct them to the appropriate company departments while adhering to turnaround time expectations.
• Keep accurate and current records of client interactions, including notes on discussions, action items, and follow-up tasks.
• Engage in training sessions and workshops to enhance product knowledge, sales skills, and overall proficiency in account management practices.
• Actively seek opportunities to contribute to team goals and initiatives, showing a willingness to learn and grow in the role.
• A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of experience along with a High School diploma/GED is required.
• 2-4 years of experience in Sales or as an Account Manager.
• Experience working with or selling to restaurant owners is highly advantageous.
• Prior experience in the restaurant industry is also a plus.
• Strong computer skills (MS Office, Google products) with the ability to quickly adapt to new software.
• Familiarity with Salesforce.com or a similar CRM is a plus.
• Native-level fluency in English is mandatory.
• Candidates who are fluent in Mandarin or Spanish are strongly preferred.
• Willingness and ability to find solutions for restaurants regardless of the challenges.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfortable making outbound calls.
• A proven track record of achieving and surpassing goals.
• Exceptional organizational skills, capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously; a self-starter with a strong inclination towards action and problem-solving; maximizes effectiveness by focusing efforts in the right areas.
