This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Acting as the primary point of contact for the designated customer base and fostering strong relationships.
• Collaborating with various internal teams to manage capacity and freight, including working alongside analysts.
• Seeking additional freight opportunities to reduce empty miles when required.
• Conducting daily research and addressing service-related issues.
• Monitoring and tracing shipments while maintaining a superior service record with an on-time performance rate of 95% or higher.
• Communicating excess load availability to the Brokerage and Rail divisions.
• Verifying the accuracy of EDI data before sending confirmations to customers.
• Overseeing all internal activities that affect service commitments closely.
• Maintaining key performance indicators for carriers.
• Managing all customer inquiries, including last-minute requests that may arise during supply chain delivery timelines.
• Handling bookings and resolving issues related to delayed pickups/deliveries, billing, etc.
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in business development, sales, or transportation operations.
• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel functions.
• Capability to manage a high volume of inbound and outbound emails while understanding capacity and network dynamics.
• Highly organized with excellent communication skills, particularly for multiple stop deliveries.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment with frequently changing priorities.
