
Account Manager – Process Equipment Sales

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.
• Your daily activities will focus on strategic territory management and providing technical consultation:
• Engage directly with end-users—engineers, technicians, and supervisory staff—to propose process solutions involving pumps, filtration systems, and repair services.
• Facilitate product training sessions with engineering firms servicing your customer base, promoting our solutions for their project specifications.
• Cultivate trusted relationships with both customers and manufacturer partners, positioning yourself as the primary resource for application expertise.
• Collaborate with Inside Sales to assess specifications and create competitive, precise quotations.
• Offer hands-on technical assistance for equipment selection, operation, and maintenance.
• Schedule and execute a minimum of five customer visits each day, with a targeted focus on high-value opportunities.
• Maintain precise sales forecasts and pipeline data in CRM to enhance strategic territory planning.
• Increase market share by deepening engagement with existing accounts and uncovering new business opportunities.
• Participate in manufacturer training initiatives and industry professional organizations.
• Formulate weekly call plans that optimize face time with decision-makers.
• Education: An Associate's degree in engineering, technical studies, or business (Bachelor's degree is preferred).
• Experience: More than 4 years of outside sales experience, ideally in industrial distribution or process equipment.
• Demonstrated success in increasing territory revenue and managing complex sales cycles.
• Inside sales experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Skills & Competencies: Ability to read and interpret technical documents, specifications, and engineering drawings.
• Capability to identify and engage key decision-makers within customer organizations.
• Strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with individuals at all levels—from shop floor technicians to executive leadership.
• Self-motivated with excellent planning and time management skills.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
