This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Accountable for delivering customer service and managing the overall service of designated customers and/or policies, as well as pursuing new business opportunities within existing accounts and supporting Producer-led initiatives for new business.
• Assists the Producer in identifying and developing new business prospects for current clients and potential customers.
• Initiates the renewal process for current clients, discussing and formulating a renewal strategy in collaboration with the Producer.
• Evaluates and compares existing exposures to create renewal or new business specifications for marketing purposes.
• Engages in marketing activities, negotiates rates, and reviews quotes and coverages for accuracy and competitiveness.
• Summarizes marketing results and prepares detailed proposals.
• Finalizes proposals and presentations in conjunction with the Producer.
• Secures insurance coverage and prepares binders and/or delegates the issuance of certificates.
• Examines policies for accuracy and reviews contracts thoroughly.
• Creates summaries and/or schedules of coverage for clients.
• Analyzes client accounting history, addresses accounting inquiries, rectifies discrepancies, and communicates with clients regarding receivable collections.
• Engages in the claims process as instructed by management, including submitting claims, following up, and maintaining overall communication.
• Offers technical support to staff addressing client requirements or procedural matters.
• Informs brokers of relevant information concerning client retention.
• Meets with clients as necessary or as directed by the Producer.
• Responsible for collecting fees, reconciling, and resolving any outstanding balances within 90 days of the invoicing date.
• Adheres to agency management system data standards and ensures data integrity by entering and maintaining accurate and complete information.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
• Associate's Degree or a comparable combination of education and experience.
• A minimum of six (6) years of relevant work experience.
• Possession of a valid Insurance License.
• Must continue to fulfill Continuing Education requirements for license renewal.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
• Strong customer service skills, including effective telephone and listening skills.
