Account Manager – MedComms

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the daily management of accounts from the initiation to the conclusion of client projects.

• Serve as the main point of contact for clients, facilitating and tracking project and financial deliverables.

• Communicate client requirements and expectations, monitor the development of timelines, and proactively identify and resolve potential challenges.

• Prepare for and conduct internal and client status meetings.

• Ensure the team adheres to all client-required standard operating procedures and guidelines.

• Notify other internal departments regarding resource requirements.

• Draft scopes of work and budgets aligned with client directives.

• Monitor compliance with approved budgets and report any changes promptly.

• Maintain precise financial spreadsheets for both internal and client use.

• Timely submission of invoices, accruals, and other financial documents.

• Provide prompt and accurate updates on project status and client-requested reports.

• Proactively seek to foster organic growth within assigned accounts by cultivating and maintaining strong client relationships.

• Mentor and support junior team members, offering training and guidance as necessary.

• Collaborate effectively with the Meeting Planning department to ensure seamless coordination and execution of events.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.

• Over 4 years of account management experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare sectors.

• Proven experience in managing publication projects.

• Willingness to travel as required.

• Exceptional project management skills, including organization, prioritization, and delegation.

• Strong understanding of the clinical development process and strategic communication planning.

• Excellent financial acumen.
