Account Manager – Infectious Disease – Diagnostics

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Serve as a strategic partner for established clients by delivering consistent and insightful advice tailored to their specific needs.

• Foster and maintain strong relationships through proactive collaboration and a deep understanding of customer objectives.

• Conduct regular business reviews with customers and proactively address any issues to improve satisfaction.

• Gather insights from various sources to comprehend stakeholder priorities and challenges.

• Work in conjunction with the Sales Development Manager ID, Health System Executive, Distribution Field Managers, and Regional Business Analyst to secure early renewals and counter competitive threats.

• Create and implement strategic account plans aimed at value expansion and profitability.

• Identify and enact operational enhancements to promote customer success.

• Utilize sales metrics and standardized tools to document the sales process and influence purchasing decisions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.

• Over 4 years of demonstrated success in medical sales, preferably in the diagnostics field.

• Extensive knowledge of laboratory and point-of-care environments, health system operations, and health economics.

• Willingness to travel within the designated territory (4 days a week, with up to approximately 35% overnight travel).
