This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Accountable for delivering customer service and overall management of assigned clients and/or policies.
• Pursue new business opportunities within existing accounts.
• Assist Producer-led initiatives for acquiring new business.
• Provide service for groups with 1 to 99 lives in force.
• Offer comprehensive support for selected producers, addressing plan modifications and inquiries from groups.
• Evaluate renewals as they arrive and prepare renewal and template letters for clients.
• Cultivate and oversee the overall client relationship to ensure the retention of the executive benefits portfolio.
• Manage General Agency relationships for the assigned portfolio.
• Identify markets for outreach and guide General Agencies in marketing efforts.
• Negotiate with markets for concessions on benefits premiums.
• Review coverage contracts to ensure the accuracy of policy provisions.
• Conduct independent meetings with clients for pre-renewal strategy discussions, proposal presentations, and clarifications.
• Organize client meetings, coordinate open enrollments, and respond to inquiries about benefit coverage.
• Oversee new carrier and plan implementations for the portfolio.
• Assist in the implementation of BenAdmin systems and complete renewals within those platforms.
• Act as an expert on Alliant employee communication solutions during client and prospect meetings.
• Prepare reports and verify their accuracy.
• Respond to, process, and follow up on new business initiatives.
• Meet with clients as needed or as directed by the Producer.
• Manage the collection of fees, reconciliation, and resolution of any outstanding balances within 60 days of the invoice date.
• Adhere to agency management system data standards and maintain data integrity.
• Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least five (5) years of relevant work experience.
• A valid insurance license.
• Proficient experience with California GA quoting engines.
• In-depth knowledge of the small group market, its products, and underwriting guidelines.
• Comprehensive understanding of compliance and contribution modeling concerning small groups.
• Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ongoing education requirements for license renewal.
